We are excited to announce a new location for the retreat: the Redfield Estate in Glenview, IL! Set within the beautiful Grove Nature Preserve, the Redfield Estate offers a charming and peaceful setting for a weekend of stitching, friendship, and creativity. The historic estate is surrounded by more than 150 acres of natural beauty, creating the perfect escape from the everyday. 


A Note About Accessibility: As a historic property, Redfield Estate does not have elevator access to the second floor and, therefore, the second floor is not ADA accessible. We want all guests to have this information in advance when planning their retreat experience since some classes may be offered on the second floor.

Rooms with free shuttle to and from the venue will be available after registration, at the Renaissance Chicago Glenview Suites. The Renaissance is located across the road from the Redfield Estate.

Retreat hours:

Friday: Check in 9:30-10:00

Open stitching 10:00-5:00


Saturday: Open stitching 9:00-5:00


Sunday: Open stitching 9:00-4:00



The registration fee of $475 includes the following:

-Friday open stitching and boxed lunch. 

-Saturday coffee and pastries, open stitching and boxed lunch.

 -Sunday coffee and pastries, open stitching and boxed lunch.

-Snacks and beverages available throughout the retreat.

- Thread dyeing station in the Pavilion, open to all. 

-A swag bag of fun things.

-Shop with pop-up vendors and designers.

-Needleminder exchange: Bring yours to swap with the ones on the board. The selection will change as swaps are made!

-Stash sale and exchange: Bring your destash and mingle. Individuals will do their own buying and selling. Please label canvases with price and venmo/zelle payment info. The destash is not managed by Stitch & Stay, honor system only.

STITCH & STAY REGISTRATION

Registration opens 10 AM CST on Thursday, August 27. Registration will be limited and on a first-come, first-served basis  

**Please note that registration is non-refundable.**

 

TRAVEL

Chicago O'Hare (ORD) is the closest airport, 25 or so minutes away. 

Rail travel from Chicago is via the Metra Rail Glenview, a short car ride away from the hotel and venue. If staying at the Renaissance, please ask them about their shuttle service.
